What is Connect - GCSE?
The Connect programme is for students who wish to improve their GCSE grades to enable them to progress onto other courses or into work. It is a blend of GCSE and BTEC qualifications.
You could also study Applied GCSEs which are double awards (these count as 2 GCSEs).
If you join a Connect - GCSE course you will be allocated a Personal Tutor who will guide and help you while you are on the course.
The Programme
The Connect programme is a one year full-time course.
You can choose your subjects to study (see the lists of BTECs and GCSEs below).
You study the core subjects of English & Maths (depending upon your present qualifications)
You can also pick one of the optional Wednesday afternoon subjects to help broaden your skills.
