What will I learn?

During this course you will study: • Working in beauty related industries • Follow health and safety in the salon • Client care and communication in beauty related industries • Provide facial skincare • Promote products and service to clients in a salon • Remove hair using waxing techniques • Provide manicure treatments • Provide pedicure treatments • Apply make-up • Provide eyelash and brow treatments • Salon reception duties • Provide threading for hair removal • Apply skin tanning techniques

What skills will I gain?

By studying this course you will: • Develop communication skills to deal with enquiries, retail, consultation, complaints and all forms of client care. • Develop specific skills involved in being able to perform specific beauty related services. • Gain knowledge in the anatomy and physiology relevant to the various services.

How will I be assessed?

Continuous assessment of practical tasks, and knowledge and understanding tasks in an assignment or online tests.

The skills you will learn from this course will enable you to pursue a career in beauty therapy and related industries. After you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto Level 3 Beauty Therapy Diploma

What are the Entry Requirements?

Four or more GCSEs at grade D or above.
