The Costs

Full time course cost informationThe prices for courses (where quoted) cover courses and exam fees. However, if a course requires payment of registration or examination fees to an external organisation, eg Institute of Legal Executives, then this is the responsibility of the student.

If your company is paying for your training, then you need to provide a letter of authorisation at enrolment.

Concessions

You may not have to pay tuition costs if you meet certain criteria depending on your age, type of course, and personal circumstances.

Find out more on our >> Concessions page.

Help with the Costs

There are a number of schemes and funds available to help learners overcome financial barriers to learning and promote wider access to college courses. They aim to ensure that people of all ages and from all backgrounds, irrespective of their personal circumstances and responsibilities, can take part in learning and benefit fully from the educational opportunities available to them.

A financial support policy has been developed; directed at helping those learners who find difficulty in paying for essential course materials, travel to and from college, books, examination fees, childcare, and other expenses associated with attending a college course.

Student Loans

Help with payments and travel costsYou can also apply for student loans for higher education programmes, development loans and trust bursaries. For more information contact College Direct on 01902 836000 or call in at one of our Advice Centres.

International Students

If you are currently residing in the UK and have less than three years residence, you will need to make an appointment to discuss your requirements with the International Office (this link opens in a new window).

The overseas Further Education rate for overseas fee payers is £10 per hour of study. If you hold a Student Visa, you must identify yourself to the International Office in order to ensure your course and visa requirements are met.

Payments

You can pay by cash, cheque, or credit card: Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo or Delta.

If you are an International Student you should make an appointment with our Advice Centre staff to discuss arrangements for the payment of fees. You are not eligible for financial support, but may be able to seek vocational employment if you hold a study visa.

Travel

The college operates a free inter-site shuttle bus service and many students are eligible for help with travel costs.
