All awards are dependent on the eligibility criteria and your household income.
In order for you to apply you will need to produce the following
documents as proof of your household income (if you are
supported by your parents this will need to be your parents’
income details):
- 11-12 Tax Credits award letter: if in receipt of Working Tax and/or Child Tax Credits.
- Income Support letter: which must state the amount of support you receive and be dated within the last 4 weeks.
- Jobseeker’s Allowance letter: which must state the amount of support you receive and be dated within the last 4 weeks/or a Confirmation of Benefit form (your signing in book is not sufficient documentation.
- Employment and Support Allowance (Work-Related Activity Group): which must state the amount of support you receive and be dated within the last 4 weeks/ or a Confirmation of Benefit form.
- P60 (issued 2011): along with your 11/12 Tax Credits Award letter and/or (if applicable) partner’s P60.
- Pensions Credit Guarantee letter: along with a State Pension Letter, which must state the amount of support you receive and be dated within the last 4 weeks.
PLEASE NOTE: Non funded courses cannot be supported by The Learner Support Fund.
