Beginners Wedding Flowers - (Floristry: Beginners Wedding Flowers)

A five week short course starting on the 29th February 2012 based at the Cedars Horticultural Centre on a Wednesday evening between 6.30pm – 8.30pm.

The course is ideal for learners who are interested in wedding flower designs and it will introduce you to intricate wiring and taping methods, as well as spiralling techniques.

Entry Requirements

There is no need to attend an interview and you can enrol over the phone by calling College direct on 01902 836000.

Course Content

Over the five week programme you will know where to buy flowers and learn how to condition and look after the flowers, prior to make up. You will make a basic buttonhole, corsage for a lady, a table centre suitable for a guest table at the wedding, a bridal hand tied for either a bride or bridesmaid and a small wedding bouquet.

A college certificate will be awarded at the end of the course.

No formal assessment with this qualification.

What can I do next?

On successful completion of this short course you may be interested in attending other short programmes such as (Introduction to Floristry) etc.

Additional costs

You will need to bring a pair of scissors to each session that will cut flower stems.

The course costs £75.00 plus flower materials each week.
