Festive & Fun ~ Christmas Workshop - (Floristry: Festive Floral Christmas Workshop)

A one day fun workshop on the 3rd December 2011 (10.am – 4.00pm) based at the Cedars Horticultural Centre

The course is ideal for learners who are really keen to get away from the Christmas mayhem and shopping and spend a day making two traditional flower designs that they can use to decorate the home for Christmas.

Course Content

You will make two traditional style arrangements out of seasonal floral materials- one of the designs will be suitable for the centre of a table and the other design will be a ‘Surprise design’ that the tutor will demonstrate on the day.

A college certificate will be awarded at the end of the course.

There are no formal assessments for this qualification.

On successful completion of this short course you may be interested in attending other one day workshops or short programmes such as (Asian Bridal Flowers) or (Beginners Wedding Flowers) etc.

Additional costs

You will need to bring a pair of scissors to the session that will cut flower stems. The course costs £42.00 plus the cost of flower/foliage materials for the day.

You can purchase the flowers and sundries at competitive rates from the retail outlet at The Cedars or alternatively a materials list can be issued and you get them yourselves.
