Intermediate Sympathy Designs Short Crse - (Floristry: Intermediate Sympathy Flower Designs)

A five week short course starting on the 9th November 2011 based at the Cedars Horticultural Centre on a Wednesday evening between 6.30pm – 8.30pm.

The course is ideal for learners who have some experience with making up funeral flowers and will extend your knowledge of various floristry techniques such as layering, basing, caging and spiralling stems.

Course Content

Over the five week programme you will know where to buy flowers and learn how to condition and look after the flowers, prior to make up. You will make a single ended spray, tied sympathy flowers, formal based design, a textured tribute and finally a personalised tribute.

A college certificate will be awarded at the end of the course.

No formal assessment with this qualification.

Additional costs

You will need to bring a pair of scissors to each session that will cut flower stems.
The course costs £75.00 plus flower materials each week.
