BUSINESS ADMIN
Why take on an Apprentice?
Did you know that there are 10 million people in the UK working in roles that require administration skills on a daily basis? Or that 97% of all employers state that business administration is critical to the effective function of their business?*
Business and Administration skills are critical to the growth of the UK economy, but four in every 10 businesses say they find it a challenge to recruit suitably trained administration staff.
With an Apprenticeship you can ensure your business admin and customer service staff have the skills your business needs to thrive.
Apprentices learn through a combination of on and off-the-job education and training. On the job they work alongside your staff, gaining the skills that are right for your business, and the rest they learn from our highly qualified industry experienced tutors, usually on a day release basis.
Research has highlighted that employers offer Apprenticeship places because they understand the benefits that Apprentices bring to their business - increased productivity, improved competitiveness and a committed and competent work-force.

The Apprenticeship Programme
The Business and Administration Apprenticeship is a flexible programme that accommodates many varied administrative roles, with Apprentice and employer choosing the majority of the units to ensure that the programme is relevant to the job role.
The Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeship programmes consist of two mandatory units; Carrying out your responsibilities at work and working within your business environment. Students at Level 2 are then able to choose three units from a selection of 24, which include managing customer relations, dealing with visitors and organising business travel and accommodation.
At Level 3 students can choose from an additional four units from a selection that includes managing diary systems, planning and running projects and making a presentation. As part of the Apprenticeship students will spend one day a week at college working towards an additional technical certificate and key skills.
