FLORISTRY
Why take on an Apprentice?
As an important part of many special occasions, it’s no wonder the floristry industry, with 8,400 businesses, contributes £1.5 million to the UK economy.
The Apprenticeship programme can help you ensure your business has the talented, skilled people you need to get ahead.
Apprentices learn on-the-job, working alongside experienced staff to gain job-specific skills. Off-the-job Apprentices receive training to work towards nationally recognised qualification, ensuring your staff are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to help you maintain your competitive advantage.
Research has highlighted that employers offer Apprenticeship places because they understand the benefits that Apprentices bring to their business - increased productivity, improved competitiveness and a committed and competent workforce.
