Why take on an Apprentice?

One in five UK employers say they have IT user skills gaps and more than one in ten state that there are gaps in the skills of their ICT staff. It’s hard to keep track of all the latest IT developments as it’s such a fast moving sector, yet it’s essential that your staff are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills they need if you want to maintain your competitive advantage.

Apprenticeships are an ideal way for you to grow your business and develop your workforce.

Apprentices learn on the job, working alongside experienced staff to gain job-specific skills. Off the job Apprentices receive training to work towards nationally recognised qualification, ensuring your staff are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to help you maintain your competitive advantage.

Research has highlighted that employers offer Apprenticeship places because they understand the benefits that Apprentices bring to their business - increased productivity, improved competitiveness and a committed and competent work-force.
