Pre-Recruitment Access Courses
for West Midlands Fire Service

The course is designed to help participants develop the skills required to successfully complete the West Midlands Fire & Rescue Service application form and entrance tests.

Celebrating 20 years of successful partnership between City of Wolverhampton College and West Midlands Fire Service

All students must satisfy the basic entry requirements for the West Midlands Fire Service. The course will cover the application form, written tests, strength and fitness tests, practical selection tests and the final interview.

There is no guarantee of success, but our course has the full support of the West Midlands Fire Service. The courses have been running for almost 20 years and over 17% of serving firefighters are former students of the course. The courses are taught by experienced College staff and serving firefighters who are former students of the course.
