What is it?
Business Improvement techniques are essential for all types and sizes of company that are striving to meet and surpass the growing expectations of their customers. This qualification is awarded to individuals who have contributed to delivering key business benefits to an organisation.
Such benefits will include:

Who Should Attend
Attendees can be from any area of the business, and ideally be working in teams or cells or be prepared to become part of a team that is empowered to carry business improvement activities.
The qualification is open to all levels within the business, participants do not need to be in a leadership role but will have a background which will enable them to benefit from the programme, as they will need to demonstrate an active involvement and contribution.
Course duration and structure
The course is delivered on the company premises.
The qualification consists of six module units that are continuously assessed over a period of approximately 4 to 6 months.
Assessment is based on improvements implemented and measurable outcomes that have been achieved as well as underpinning knowledge across all unit gained through portfolio building.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualification entry requirements.
The course is open to any candidate who has the potential to achieve the required standard.
Course Outcome - Related Business Benefits and Candidate Progression
The candidate will receive a Level 2, 3 or 4 Certificate of Achievement following successful completion of the qualification.
Candidates who have successfully achieved level 2 can progress to level 3 as long as they can demonstrate they can lead business Improvement activities.
