Health and Safety and Environmental Programmes
What is it?
The Health and Safety courses are aimed at employees at any level, in any sector who need a knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety at work. The courses should also benefit employers by helping them to improve the safety culture within their organization by focusing on how individual actions contribute to Health and Safety in the workplace.

Who Should Attend
The qualification consists of different module units that are continuously assessed over a period of approximately4 to 12 months dependant on the role. Candidates might be required to attend group tutorials throughout the duration of the course, which will give guidance on compiling evidence for the relevant units.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualification entry requirements, however candidates wishing to undertake NVQ Level 5 Occupational Health & Safety Practice should possess a NEBOSH or equivalent and have Health and Safety responsibilities at a managerial level. All candidates will undergo an informal interview prior to acceptance on the course.
Course Outcome - Related Business Benefits and Candidate Progression
The candidate will receive a Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Certificate, National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) General Certificate or C & G 3645 NVQ in Occupational Health & Safety Practice following successful completion of the qualification.
