What is it?
In today's business environment many of our key personnel are competent but not formally qualified to a recognised national standard. By undertaking this qualification the individual's skills are harnessed, honed and recognised. The qualification benefits both the individual and the company by consolidating and formalising your skills base.

Who Should Attend
This qualification is primarily aimed at experienced workers who are seeking recognition of their competence in one or more of a range of activities across the mechanical maintenance and installation skills sector.
Course duration and structure
The course is delivered on the company premises.
The qualification consists of six - seven module units that are continuously assessed over a period of approximately 12 months. Assessment is based on competence levels and underpinning knowledge gained through portfolio building.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualification entry requirements, however candidates should be currently in a position where they are engaged in engineering maintenance and installation, either in a semi-skilled or skilled role.
Course Outcome - Related Business Benefits and Candidate Progression
The candidate will receive an Engineering Maintenance and Installation NVQ (Diploma) following successful completion of the qualification.
