Manufacturing Support
This is an ideal entry level qualification aimed at team members involved in the day to day manufacturing operations who are performing operations such as machining and assembly.
The course is unit structured and enables individuals in a range of specialist roles such as welding and fabrication to undertake the qualification.
Candidates will be enabled to build on their current job knowledge and people skills, in particular "Team Working" as well as the opportunity to contribute to improving efficiency in their work area.

Who Should Attend
This qualification is primarily aimed at experienced team members carrying out manufacturing operations that are looking for the opportunity to gain a formal qualification that recognises their expertise and contribution to the organisation.
It can also be used as an invaluable tool to develop team members that are new to the role are, currently following a programme of training in manufacturing operations.
Course duration and structure
The course is delivered on the company premises.
The qualification consists of six module units that are continuously assessed over a period of approximately 3 months.
Assessment is based on competence levels and underpinning knowledge gained through portfolio building.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualification entry requirements.
The course is open to any candidate who has the potential to achieve the required standard.
Course Outcome – Related Business Benefits and Candidate Progression
The candidate will receive a Level 2 or 3 Certificate of Achievement following successful completion of the qualification.
This course relates to
Productivity improvements - Development of "Best Practice" - Cost Reduction Opportunities - Therefore it is an ideal platform towards progressing to a Business Improvement Qualification such as the level 2 Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques. This will enable further avenues of learning and contribution to companywide business improvement activities
