This qualification will support you in setting, maintaining and continually improving the standards achieved for your team as a whole. You will need to demonstrate awareness of your targets and goals whilst remembering the individual needs of individual team members. You will need to demonstrate the ability to motivate individuals and the team as a whole, communicating the targets set by your organisation to achieve these collectively.

This qualification is primarily aimed at experienced team leaders who are looking to consolidate their skills and abilities and may be moving closer to a career in first line management.
Course duration and structure
The course is delivered on the company premises. The qualification consists of six module units that are continuously assessed over a period of approximately 4-6 months.
Assessment is based on competence levels and underpinning knowledge gained through portfolio building.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualification entry requirements; however candidates should be currently in a position where they are leading a team so that they can demonstrate and provide evidence of meeting the national standards.
Course Outcome – Related Business Benefits and Candidate Progression
The candidate will receive an ILM Level 2 Certificate of Achievement in Team Leading or ILM Level 3 Certificate of Achievement in Team Management following successful completion of the qualification.
