This qualification will enable employees an understanding of basic occupational skills, including best practice, required on a daily basis within a Warehousing and Storage facility. It will also contribute to the development of the individual's ability to adapt to future requirements expected in this industry sector.
It enhances the skills of the employee and contributs to the improvement of performance in the workplace.
It also boosts the motivation and confidence of the employee and provides an independent measure of performance against national standards.
It generates tangible performance outcomes by contributing to increasing productivity and supporting business improvement, as well as existing training and development within the organisation.

Who Should Attend
The NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing and Storage is suitable for the employee whose job role involves stock storage, order processing and customer service, or for anyone who is looking to develop their skills in preparation for enhanced career prospects within the warehousing, storage, and logistics business sector.
Course duration and structure
The course is delivered on the company premises. The qualification consists of nine module units that are continuously assessed over a period of approximately 9 months.
Assessment is based on the outcomes and evidence of warehousing and storage vocational competences as well as underpinning knowledge across all units gained through portfolio building.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualification entry requirements.
However, this is a work based programme and participants are required to be within a Warehousing and Storage role that enables them to evidence competencies based on the National Standards at Level 2
Course Outcome – Related Business Benefits and Candidate Progression
The candidate will receive a Level 2 Certificate of Achievement following successful completion of the qualification.
Successful completion of the NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing and Storage can lead to the Level 3 NVQ in Logistics Operations Management
