Wates donation to college

Students from City of Wolverhampton College are putting their trade skills to the test thanks to a donation of kitchen supplies from a local business.

Wates Living Space has given the college’s construction block at Wellington Road Campus 60 worktops to help with students’ practical lessons.

The equipment will be used by carpentry and joinery students as they put their skills into practice.

Curriculum Manager Joel Dalhouse said: “We are very grateful to Wates Living Space for their generous donation, which will give our students the opportunity to do work that reflects real life and gain experience that will be invaluable to them in their journey to becoming qualified carpenters and joiners.”
