Young Person's Guide to Wolvcoll

An information booklet for students interested in studying at City of Wolverhampton College has been praised at a national awards ceremony.

The pocket-sized Young Person’s Guide to Wolvcoll was highly commended in the full-time prospectus category at the College Marketing Network’s FE First Awards ceremony on Monday 28 November.

The guide – produced by the college’s marketing team – contains information on study options after Year 11 including full-time courses and apprenticeships, as well as details of the range of subjects on offer, college facilities, financial support and bus routes to its campuses.

Emma Evans, marketing manager at the college, said: “The new guide is a break away from the traditional printed prospectus and has been extremely well received by young people across the city as it contains all the information they need in a handy size that they can keep in their bags or pocket.

“Judges said that the standard of entries for the awards was extremely high this year and we are really pleased that the pocket guide has been highly commended in its category.”

The Young Person’s Guide to Wolvcoll is available from schools, libraries and Connexions offices across the city as well as from the college’s campuses in Paget Road, Compton, Wellington Road in Bilston and Metro One in the city centre.
