Accommodation needed for international students

International students due to start at City of Wolverhampton College in September are looking for accommodation in the area.

Ten students from the United Arab Emirates – who will be studying for a one-year HND in electronic engineering at the college’s Wellington Road campus – want to stay with host families in the city so that they can improve their English and immerse themselves in the British way of life.

Each student will need their own room, with a bed and small desk to work at, and meals will need to be provided apart from the times when they are in college. In return, host families will receive £125 per week when the students are in the country.

Rose Urkovskis, frontline services manager at the college, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming our international students to the college and hoping that they will find accommodation with families in the local area so that they can improve their English alongside the professional skills they will learn on the course.”
