ADVICE NIGHTS “POP UP” FOR SCHOOL LEAVERS
Teenagers thinking of leaving school this year can find out about their next step at a series of “pop up” events being held by City of Wolverhampton College this June.
The college is hosting a series of careers events at its Wellington Road, Metro One and Paget Road campuses to help youngsters explore possible careers and what qualifications they need to get there.
Qualified advice and guidance staff will be on hand to give out information on courses, apprenticeships and other training opportunities.
Visitors will be able to get information on over 300 full and part-time qualifications as well as university-level higher education programmes, courses to improve English and maths, and an apprenticeship scheme enabling people to earn while they learn by combining working for an employer with studying for a qualification at college.
The pop up events run at Paget Road on Jun 6, 15 and 27, at its Wellington Road Campus on June 13, 20 and 29 and at its Metro One site on June 8 and 22.
The events run from 4pm and 6pm and no booking is required.
