Young people who have left school and want to get on the career ladder can find out about the wide range of apprenticeships on offer across the city and beyond at a special event this August.

City of Wolverhampton College is hosting an apprentice fair at its Paget Road Campus on Wednesday August 3 to help youngsters who want to earn a wage while gaining a qualification.

They will also be able find out how to apply and receive help and advice on their next steps.

Head of Work Based Learning Glynis Partis said: “As more and more businesses realise the value of having an apprentice, we are seeing more and more great opportunities appear for young people wanting to earn as they learn.

“We currently have more than 55 apprentice vacancies to fill, which are open to anyone aged over 16, whether they are just leaving school, are already working or are seeking to start a new career.

“To find out more, simply drop in to our apprentice fair any time between 4pm and 7pm on August 3.”
