Plumbers Receive Mira Shower Training

Budding plumbers from City of Wolverhampton College tapped into new skills when they enjoyed a master class by industry experts.

The group of students, who are all on the Level 2 Plumbing course at the college’s Wellington Road campus, took part in a short maintenance workshop led by shower manufacturers Mira.

As part of the training, the class stripped showers to find faults and reassembled equipment.

Curriculum Manager for Construction Joel Dalhouse said: “This is the first time we have worked with Mira, but it was incredibly useful for the students and we hope to continue our partnership in the future.

“This technical knowledge of one of the leading shower brands will stand them in good stead as they embark on their careers.

“We are also very grateful to Mira for donating electrical showers and pumps to help our students continue their learning.”
