COLLEGE IN TOP 10% FOR STUDENT SATISFACTION!
Students at City of Wolverhampton College are some of the most satisfied in the country, according to a national survey.
In the results of the FE Choices Learner Satisfaction Survey for 2016/17, released on July 13, the college is rated highest in the Midlands region (comprising the East and West Midlands) and in the top 10% of further education providers nationally.
The organisation received a score of 90.1% for student satisfaction – against the top score of 94.6% – ranking it 13th out of 184 further education providers across the country.
Kirk Hookham, vice principal for curriculum and quality, said: “For students to give us such positive feedback – leading to us being ranked first in the Midlands and in the top 10% of further education providers in the country – is yet another fantastic achievement for the college.
“It proves how focusing everything we do on the high quality of teaching, and continually adapting to ensure students develop skills that will impress employers and lead to great future careers, really does reap rewards – and the fact that the results are from the students themselves shows that they have a great experience whilst at college and highly value the opportunities that it provides.”
The Learner Satisfaction survey captures learners’ experiences of their college or training organisation across England.
