College Learners are Most Satisfied in the Region!
Students from City of Wolverhampton College are some of the most satisfied in the country, according to a recent national survey.
In the FE Choices Learner Satisfaction Survey, released on September 3, the college is rated top in the West Midlands, with an impressive 8.8 out of 10 for student satisfaction.
Teaching was scored as 9.1 out of 10, while respect from staff was given the same grade. The results put the college in the top 3% of FE colleges in the country as rated by their own students.
Principal Mark Robertson said: “We are totally focused on offering our students a great college experience and on helping people to develop the skills they need to get great jobs and to develop successful careers – our students are at the centre of everything we do.
“We have already been named in the top 15% of colleges in England for success rates for 16 to 18-year-olds, and graded as good with outstanding features by Ofsted. I’m absolutely delighted that we have now achieved such a fantastic ranking by our students themselves. This is a great testament of the high quality of teaching offered at the college, and of the dedication of all of our staff who help to make that possible. This really showcases what our students starting in September can expect from us.”
The Learner Satisfaction survey captures learners’ experiences of their college or training organisation across England.
