COLLEGE SHORTLISTED FOR THREE NATIONAL MARKETING AWARDS
City of Wolverhampton College is hoping to go for the hat trick after being shortlisted for three national awards.
The college’s marketing department has been nominated for three categories in the FE First Awards, which take place at the Hilton Leicester on November 23.
The six-strong team is up for the Best PR Campaign, for its work in promoting the college’s Academy restaurant and catering courses, and has made the shortlist for the Digital and Social Media category for dramatically improving the college’s social media presence over the last year.
Their work in improving the image of the college by promoting the college’s “Good” Ofsted rating also caught the judges’ attention in the Communications Campaign category.
Marketing Manager Emma Evans said: “We are delighted to have made the shortlist. To be nominated for not one, but three awards, really is a huge achievement and a recognition of all the hard work of the department over the last year.”
The awards, organised by The College Marketing Network, are held to celebrate marketing best practice and the work that is being achieved in further education colleges across the UK.
