College Shows Support for Fairtrade

8th February 2018

City of Wolverhampton College is joining schools and colleges up and down the country to promote Fairtrade products this February.

As part of Fairtrade fortnight, which takes place from February 26 to March 11, the college has organised a fun-packed two weeks of talks and events.

Students will be able to tuck into special Fairtrade meals in the canteen, enjoy a Fairtrade cuppa and discover more about farming in developing countries.

Student Projects Officer Lucy Bennett said: “The college is a proud supporter of Fairtrade products and was recently awarded Fairtrade Status for a further two years.

“These events are a continuation of our commitment to helping to improve the lives of farmers in developing countries.”
