College Supports Fairtrade Campaign
City of Wolverhampton College is joining schools and college up and down the country to promote Fairtrade products this February.
Caring staff and students from City of Wolverhampton College are taking part in a fun packed schedule of events as part of Fairtrade fortnight, which takes place from February 27 to March 12.
During the two weeks, students will have the chance to enjoy a Fairtrade cuppa and snack, tuck into Fairtrade Pancakes on Shrove Tuesday and learn about farming in developing countries in a board game challenge.
Student Project Officer Kelleigh Greene said: “We hope our fortnight of events will help raise awarenesss of the conditions facing farmers worldwide and encourage people to make shopping choices that help change their lives.”
