DEVELOP CLASSROOM SKILLS WITH NATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
People who want a career helping children, young people and adults to learn in the classroom can sign-up for three part-time qualifications at City of Wolverhampton College.
The college is offering Level 2 and Level 3 certificates in supporting teaching and learning for those who want to become teaching assistants and work with pupils in primary or secondary schools, as well as a Level 3 award in education and training for people wanting to teach or train adults in colleges or other educational settings.
All courses had extremely high success rates during the 2015/16 academic year with 95% of students achieving their teaching assistant qualifications – compared to the national average of 90% – and 100% attaining the award in education and training.
The next award in education and training course starts on 17 January 2017, with the supporting teaching and learning qualifications starting in March.
