1960s disco

The sounds of the ‘60s will be booming out at a charity disco organised by business students at City of Wolverhampton College.

Six students studying for a HNC in business at the college’s Paget Road campus have organised the event, in aid of Compton Hospice, at the Polish Club, Stafford Road, on Friday 20 May, as part of their Managing a Business Event module course work.

Student Danny Tucker said: “In organising the disco we have used the planning, communication and teamwork skills we have learnt on the course to share roles and responsibilities and arrange what will be a lively and  enjoyable event for everyone who comes along.”

The event will run from 7pm to midnight and tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for children, with under-3s admitted free.  To buy tickets contact Danny on 07927 836933 or email mrdstucker@live.co.uk
