Universal Jobmatch

Unemployed people wanting to brush up their IT skills to help them use the government’s online job search system can sign-up for a free course at City of Wolverhampton College – and get tickets to a Wolves match to boot.

The course, to be held at Molineux Stadium, will show people how to use the Universal Job Match system – which matches them to jobs based on their skills and experience – register for job alerts, produce and upload a CV and send emails.

Participants will also get a behind the scenes tour of the stadium and grounds, a visit to the museum and shop, and those who attend all parts of the course will receive two free tickets to a Wolves home match.

The course starts on June 8 and will be held on Monday and Tuesday, 1pm – 4pm, for four weeks. Everyone who successfully completes the course will gain an accredited IT Entry Award qualification

The course is open to anyone claiming Job Seeker’s Allowance, Employment Support Allowance or income support.

Places can be booked by calling the college’s employability team on 01902 837183 or 837190.
