GET HANDS-ON AT COLLEGE OPEN DAY

9th May 2018

People can get hands-on and have a go at a range of practical activities at an open day at City of Wolverhampton College next month.

The college’s three main campuses – Paget Road in Compton, Wellington Road in Bilston and Metro One in the city centre – will be open on Saturday 9 June, 10am-2pm, for people to find out about full-time and part-time courses starting in September.

Visitors can talk to tutors about the best qualifications for their chosen career and take part in activities – such as bricklaying, manicures, computer games design, science experiments and cupcake icing – to give them a taste of the practical side of different courses.

Advisers will also be on hand with information on apprenticeships which enable people to combine working for an employer with studying at college, higher education qualifications including HNCs, HNDs and foundation degrees, and financial support to help with college costs.

People attending the event can apply for their chosen course, have an interview with a member of the college’s admissions team and, subject to entry criteria, leave with an offer of a place to start their qualification in September.

To check which campus to visit for individual subjects and to book a place at the event click here or call 01902 836000.
