LEARN CLASSROOM SKILLS ON COLLEGE COURSES

26th September 2018

People who want a career helping pupils in the classroom, and parents who want to support their children’s learning, can sign-up for short part-time qualifications at City of Wolverhampton College.

The college is offering Level 2 and Level 3 certificates in supporting teaching and learning for those who want to become teaching assistants and work with pupils in primary and secondary schools, as well as Level 2 awards in understanding autism, dyslexia awareness, and playwork.

Also on offer is a 10-week course in supporting children’s learning to give parents an understanding of how maths and English is taught in the classroom and a range of techniques to enable them to support their child with homework.

Courses will be held at the Paget Road campus one day per week and run from eight weeks to 34 weeks depending on the subject chosen.

For more information on the courses click here or call 01902 836000.
