LEARN HOW TO BE A TEACHING ASSISTANT ON COLLEGE COURSE
Enthusiastic people with a passion for supporting youngsters with their education are being sought by City of Wolverhampton College.
The college is offering two qualifications which will give people the skills needed to work as teaching assistants in schools and colleges supporting young people to achieve their full potential and opening up learning opportunities they never thought they would have.
The part-time nationally recognised Level 2 and Level 3 certificates in supporting teaching and learning in schools are run at the Paget Road campus and students are required to attend one three-hour session per week as well as spend one day a week on a placement in a school or college.
Also on offer are teaching assistant apprenticeships which enable students to earn while they learn by combining working in a local school or nursery with studying for their qualifications at college.
Places are still available for courses starting in September and morning, afternoon and evening sessions available.
