Prince's Trust

Young people who want to improve their job prospects, gain new skills, increase in confidence and make new friends can join new life-changing programmes kicking off at venues across the region in the coming months.

The 12-week Prince’s Trust team programme, run by City of Wolverhampton College, aims to help 16-25-year-olds realise their potential and progress to get a job or move on to further education or training.

The programme includes a residential week with activities such as climbing, abseiling and raft building, along with worthwhile community projects and fundraising activities.  Students will also spend two weeks on a work experience placement and pick up a number of certificates including first aid, food hygiene and health and safety.

Programmes kick off in Willenhall on November 27 and Telford on December 4.  In 2018, courses will run in Dudley in January, Wednesfield, Walsall and Wolverhampton in February, and Shrewsbury and Smethwick in March.
