Access to HE course

Creative people wanting to study at university but who lack the qualifications to get them there are being urged to sign up to a new course being launched at City of Wolverhampton College this January.

The Access to HE – Art and Design is a new programme giving mature students the skills they need to move into Higher Education.

The two day a week course will look at a range of disciplines, including fine art, graphic design, 3D design, textiles and photography, giving students the back ground knowledge to move on to a wide range of degree courses.

Students will build up a portfolio of work and have the chance to take part in a city centre exhibition.

Curriculum Manager Michael Dixon said: “This is a great way for people who may not have any A Levels or vocational qualifications to move on to higher levels of study, and to learn with like minded people in a mature environment.”

The course is run over 24 weeks from the Paget Road Campus. For more information ring 01902 836000.
