Young people can find out about study options after leaving school, and adults can get the lowdown on part-time courses starting in the new year, at an open evening at City of Wolverhampton College later this month.

The college’s three main campuses – Paget Road in Compton, Wellington Road in Bilston and Metro One in the city centre – will be open on Wednesday 28 November, 4pm-7pm, for visitors to talk to tutors about the best courses for their chosen careers.

Staff will be on hand with information on part-time courses starting in January 2019 and A Levels and full-time industry-recognised qualifications starting in September, as well as higher education courses including HNCs, HNDs and foundation degrees, and apprenticeship opportunities with employers in the local area.

Visitors can have a go at a range of activities to give them a taste of what they would study on different courses, as well as get careers advice and information on financial support to help with course fees and other college costs.

Those attending can apply for their chosen course whilst at the event, have an interview with a member of the college’s admissions team and, subject to entry criteria, leave with an offer of a place to start their qualification next year.
