PAMPER DAYS PROVE POPULAR TREAT WITH CLIENTS
Pamper days at City of Wolverhampton College have proved so popular that extra dates have had to be added to cope with demand.
The college is offering two beauty treatments, a haircut or blow dry, and a three-course lunch for just £20 on Tuesdays during term time and, since the scheme was launched in March, almost 60 people have booked a place.
The sessions have been so popular that the treat is now also being offered on Wednesdays until the beginning of June.
Guests spend the morning being pampered in the college’s beauty training salon, tuck-in to a tasty three-course lunch in its popular Academy restaurant, and have their hair cut or styled in the hairdressing salon in the afternoon.
Lynn Parker, head of school for service industries at the college, said: “We are delighted with the success of the pamper days which enable customers to treat themselves to a relaxing day out and students to gain valuable experience of working with clients in a commercial setting which will prepare them for working in salons and restaurants when they have finished their course.”
The pamper days are held at the college’s Metro One campus in the city centre and places can be booked by calling 01902 821321.
