People can save money on university tuition fees by signing up for higher education qualifications at City of Wolverhampton College.

The college offers university-level Higher National Certificates (HNC), Higher National Diplomas (HND) and foundation degrees in a range of subjects, with full-time courses costing £5,500 – compared to university fees of around £9,000 – and part-time qualifications costing between £2,750 and £3,667.

Places are still available on programmes starting this year, with flexible study options available, and students can apply for a loan to cover the costs of the course which they will not have to start paying back until they are earning over £21,000 a year.

Subjects on offer include business, computing, construction, creative artseducationengineeringhealth and social care, hospitality and catering, science, sport, travel and tourism, and uniformed public services.
