OPen Evening

School leavers waiting for exam results and unsure of their next steps or people wanting to boost their job prospects by improving their qualifications can sign up for courses at City of Wolverhampton College at an open evening next week.

The college’s three main campuses – Paget Road in Compton, Wellington Road in Bilston and Metro One in the city centre – will be open on Wednesday 3 August, 4pm-7pm, to give people the chance to talk to tutors and apply for courses starting in September.

Visitors will be able to get information on over 300 full-time and part-time qualifications, as well as courses to improve English and maths, university-level higher education programmes such as HNCs, HNDs and foundation degrees, and bite-sized modules to boost professional skills.

And people interested in an apprenticeship scheme enabling them to combine working for an employer with studying for a qualification at college can find out about vacancies in accountancy, administration, engineering, hairdressing and barbering, and motor vehicle roles across the West Midlands and beyond at an apprenticeship fair being held at the Paget Road campus on the same evening.
