People can start the New Year with a smart new look and a delicious lunch at pampering sessions organised by students at City of Wolverhampton College.

Students studying for qualifications in beauty, hairdressing and catering are offering a haircut or blow dry, luxury manicure or pedicure, and a three-course lunch at the college’s city centre training academy, at the Metro One campus, for just £30 per person.

Guests will have their hair cut, conditioned and blow-dried by trainee stylists in the morning, tuck-in to a tasty meal cooked and served by cookery and hospitality students in the popular Academy restaurant at lunchtime, and finish the session with the beauty treatment in the afternoon.

The college launched the pamper sessions in February 2015 to showcase the skills of students and give them the experience of working with real customers in a commercial setting.

The pamper packages are available on Thursdays during term time, with the first session of the new year arranged for January 4, 2018.   Places need to be booked in advance by calling the Metro One campus on 01902 821321.
