Performing Arts students from City of Wolverhampton College

Students from City of Wolverhampton College are preparing to tread the boards in their end of year musical spectacular.

More than 40 students from a range of Performing Arts courses at the college will be performing in the show, which features a range of songs by Swedish pop group Abba, at the Paget Road Campus on July 1, 2 and 3.

The group have spent more than two months preparing for the production, which marks the end of a successful year for the department.

Lecturer Tanya Long said: “Our students have had a great year – many of them recently sang in front of talent spotters from The Voice, while several have been accepted into top drama schools for next year – including East 15 and Vocal Tech.

“This upbeat show promises to be a great night of entertainment!”

The doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets, costing £5 (concessions £4) are available on the door.

The college is now recruiting for its range of courses in performing arts starting in September. For more information ring the college on 01902 836000 or apply online at
