Performing arts students prepare for annual showcase

Talented students from City of Wolverhampton College are preparing to dazzle when they take to the stage in their annual showcase.

The Performing Arts students will be entertaining the audience on December 16 and 17 at the college’s Paget Road Campus.

Around 36 students from the Level 2, Level 3 and HND Performing Arts courses will be taking part in the family friendly show, which is based on elements from different musicals.

Lecturer Ruth Gavin said: “The Christmas showcase is a regular and much anticipated event in the performing arts calendar, giving students the chance to share their talents with friends, family and the wider public. They have all been working incredibly hard and it promises to be a great evening of entertainment.”

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets, costing £5 each, are available from the Paget Road reception or on the door.

Spaces are available now for next year’s performing arts courses. For more information call 01902 836121.
