The achievements and successes of hundreds of students at City of Wolverhampton College will be celebrated at a presentation ceremony at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Thursday (July 6).

Students from every college department will be attending the event and receive certificates of achievement from Claire Boliver, principal of the college, in front of their family, friends and tutors.

There will also be presentations of Student of the Year awards for those who have achieved outstanding success in individual subject areas.

Claire said: “The event is an opportunity for us to celebrate our students’ successes and to congratulate them for their commitment to learning and to taking advantage of all the opportunities that studying at college has given them over the year.

“They should all be extremely proud of their achievements and, whether they are leaving us to go to university, to take up a new job, or returning next year to continue their qualifications, we wish them the very best for the future.”

As part of the celebrations, performing arts students will be entertaining the audience with a musical medley from their end of term show Avenue Q.
