Open Evening

Next September might seem a long way off but you can start planning your future at an open evening at City of Wolverhampton College next week.

In Year 11 and wondering what to do next? Don’t want to stay on at school after your GCSEs?

Talk to tutors about courses from art to sport and business to travel, get advice on the best routes into your chosen career and sign-up to study at one of the top 15% colleges in England for success rates for 16-18-year-olds.

Interested in A Levels but don’t think Sixth Form is for you?

Pick from a wide range of subjects and, as the college is number one for A Level achievement (three A*-E grades) in the city, you can be confident of gaining the qualifications you need to move on to university and a great future!

Want to earn while you learn by combining working and studying?

Drop-in to the apprenticeship fair to find out about a whole range of vacancies available right now with local companies, helping you get out into the world of work while still gaining those vital qualifications that employers are looking for.

Thinking about a university-level qualification but don’t want to pay high tuition fees?

Visit the higher education fair and see how studying at college is no different to university. You can apply for a student loan to cover the cost of the course and, if you do a HND or foundation degree, you can just do a one year top-up at university to get a full honours degree.

The college’s open evening is on Wednesday November 9, 4pm-7pm. To book your place and find out which campus to visit for the subject you’re interested click here
