Cabin crew courses at college

Budding cabin crew are being encouraged to take flight and make their first steps in their dream career, with help from City of Wolverhampton College.

The college is now taking applications for its Level 2 Travel and Tourism course, which starts in September.

The exciting course includes modules in airports, airlines and cabin crew, giving students the skills and knowledge they need to work on board a plane.

Students will also have the opportunity to visit the British Airways training academy, and take part in a one day cabin crew training day, where they will get to experience the escape slide and take part in a mock emergency evacuation on a flight simulator.

Lecturer Wendy Harris said: “This course is a great way for young people to get into an exciting career that could see them travelling the world.

“Many of our former students are now working as cabin crew on major international airlines and it’s lovely to hear of all the exciting places they have visited through their job.”
