TALENTED STUDENTS CELEBRATE THE BARD IN FREE FESTIVAL
Talented students from City of Wolverhampton College are celebrating the birthday of one of England’s most famous playwrights by joining in an afternoon of performances in the city centre.
Twelve Performing Arts students will be staging an adaptation of Titus Andronicus at The Arena Theatre on April 23 as part of The Emerge Wolverhampton Festival.
Pupils from Penn Fields School and Highfields School are also taking part in the free festival, which has been commissioned and delivered by young people.
The day also includes storytelling sessions, short animations and dance pieces.
The Shake of Things – Emerge Wolverhampton Festival takes place on April 23 from midday to 5pm at the Arena Theatre, Wolverhampton. Admission is free.
