Flavours from across the world will be on the menu at a series of themed evenings organised by catering students at City of Wolverhampton College next month.

Students studying for diplomas in professional cookery and food and beverage service will be cooking up dishes from different countries in the college’s Academy training restaurant, at the Metro One campus in the city centre, on Thursday evenings during May.

Themes include a South American evening on 4 May, French flavours on 11 May, North African dishes on 18 May and Greek delights on 25 May.

Helen Seal, cookery tutor at the college, said: “The themed evenings are the culmination of many weeks of hard work by cookery and hospitality students who have worked together to research the dishes of different countries and develop menus offering diners a range of traditional dishes.”

The three course meal costs £12 per head and tables are available from 6.30pm with last orders at 6.45pm.  For reservations call the restaurant on 01902 821431.
