College Celebrates Success at Midlands Excellence Awards

Director of Regeneration & Adult Skills Ray Thompson and School Leader for Health Studies Pat Richards are presented with the TQS plaque by British Olympic gold medalist James CracknellCity of Wolverhampton College celebrated achieving Training Quality Standard (TQS) - the highest training accolade possible - at the Midlands Excellence Awards Ceremony this January.

Representatives from the college were among 1,000 guests who attended the event at the ICC in Birmingham, held to recognise the region's excellent organisations.

As part of the event the college was presented with its TQS plaque by guest speaker and British Olympic gold medalist James Cracknell.

The TQS is a seal of approval given to training providers and employers to show that their training and development solutions impact positively on business needs.
