Public Services students show off their new skills

ImagePublic Services students showed off their new skills in front of friends and family in a special passing out parade this June.

The students performed a number of drills and challenges, including a brief gym routine and parade.

They also had to disarm a “bomb” and traverse a swamp using only a few planks of wood.

Lecturer Geoff Snelling said: “This is the first time we have held a passing out parade for our students, who have all really enjoyed putting their skills into practice.

“Next year we hope to make the event bigger and better.”

The event had been organised by business students as part of their course.
